More Reasons Why Elections Do Matter
- "Here's some hard numbers to prove that elections matter: 70 and 10. Seventy was the average LCV Lifetime Score of Senators who chaired environment-related committees in the last Congress. Ten is the average score of the chairs in the next Congress to be sworn in on January 7th. That means the people who will have power over our energy policy, national parks, and air pollution laws voted against the environment position 9 out 10 chances they got."
