Willing to Fish the Last Fish

"This [study] shows that the reason we've had so much tuna and swordfish, the only reason this has been sustained, is because boats kept going farther and farther away. The problem now is there's no place left to go. There are a lot of people out there willing to fish the last fish. But that's just not going to work." - quote from Dr. Jeremy B. C. Jackson, a professor at the Scripps Institution of Oceanography, in reference to a new study on effects of commercial fishing. The quote appeared in the NY Times article at http://nytimes.com/2003/05/14/science/life/14CND-FISH.html.
