Today is the 1-Year Anniversary of the Deepwater Horizon Oil Spill Disaster
- One year ago, the BP Deepwater Horizon disaster took 11 lives, discharged about 200 million gallons of oil into the Gulf of Mexico and destroyed the livelihoods of many Gulf of Mexico residents.
