Follow the links on the right side of this page or click on the map below to access reports for 30 coastal U.S. states, the U.S. Territory of Puerto Rico and the Canadian Province of British Columbia. You can also select a state from the drop-down menu below the map.

On each state page there is a brief summary of the Coastal Zone Management (CZM) program, ratings for each of Surfrider's Beach Health Indicators, examples of positive and negative indicators for that state, and a listing of Surfrider Foundation victories.

Follow links on the state page to a beach and CZM program description and detailed discussions of each of nine Beach Health Indicators. For each indicator, there is a discussion of state policies and programs for that indicator, as well as information and data collected by the state. There are numerous links within these state report sections to additional websites, reports and other information sources.
