Prop 40 Passes in California
- "I want to commend the voters of California for overwhelmingly supporting Proposition 40 - the California Clean Water, Clean Air, Coastal Protection and Safe Neighborhood Parks Bond Act of 2002 - in [Tuesday's] elections in California," said Richard Moe, president of The National Trust for Historic Preservation. "With their votes, the California people said yes to protecting their heritage and their environment."
