Yes, it's true. Surfrider Foundation has a Minnesota-Superior Chapter! They're promoting Surfrider's Rise Above Plastics and Hold On To Your Butt campaigns. To help protect Lake Superior and Minnesota's other lakes and rivers, they recommend:

  • Practice “Leave No Trace”
  • Pick up after yourself
  • Refuse plastic bags and single use plastics
  • Recycle!
  • Volunteer in a beach/waterway cleanup
  • Join our chapter and share your ideas
  • Donate $ to us, so we can continue our mission

You can contact the Minnesota-Superior Chapter via email at chair@mnsuperior.surfrider.org
